Sobering?

Undertale crossover, featured within the first 24 hours with over 450 views.
My Ponyfinder story? struggling along less than 100 views after 9 chapters and over a week.

Both written by me, so it's not the author. Ponyfinder just isn't as popular as Undertale.

I know that feeling. Have a Xellos Displaced story and within the first couple days it nearly had more upvotes than all my other stories combined.

Actually, what it is would be all the 'Displaced' sheep. Seriously, it's like any fic, if it is put into the 'Displaced' group suddenly gets hit by a lot of people who are sheep to the craptastic dipfarced fics.

3528952 I have a thing, where almost all fics that are 'Displaced' fics give me cancer, so I can't read it. I am loving Roots of Stone though.

Undertale atm, is having a huge focus of attention for love right now in video's and streaming. Its more the timing of this, than any quality or writing differences.

3528966 I said 'almost all'. There are a few that I have enjoyed in the past, but that was before the whole 'displaced' thing got overdone to the point where I was sick of it. I don't doubt that there are a few good ones out there, but I just don't have any desire to sort through the crap to find good ones.

I do think any that you would write would be decent, but I don't know what Undertale is, so I don't really have any desire to really get into it when I already have seven or so fics that are half-read open across all of my fifty or so chrome tabs.

3529058 agreed. It has a lot of potential, and the gaming side of things is epic. Think of this as a step. People will find you through undertale and see more of your stuff cuz of it.

Plus almost nothing is as popular as undertale.
