Hasbro being sued over a font · 10:30pm Jan 25th, 2016
Oh my God is Font Bros. America serious? First of all, have you ever heard of anyone being sued over a font? Anywhere? Secondly, Hasbro has money. A lot of it. So what big corporation like this wouldn't make sure they have some of the best lawyers out there? Font Bros America literally has no chance of winning. Third, their demands are ridiculous. Every product with the "infringing" font must be destroyed according to them. There's no way in hell that's going to happen with how many there are out there and how widespread they are.
Fourth, and the most damning point by the way, Font Bros America even boasts on their freaking page for this font that it's used by My Little Pony. My guess is that they only give a crap NOW because they want money since they're a company pretty much nobody's ever heard of.
Normally I don't like sticking up for Hasbro, but this lawsuit seriously has zero reason to exist outside of wanting money. 
I don't care who Font Bros. America is, for all I care, they could be goddamn Disney, however, of all the things to sue over. A FONT. A FONT.
If it were intellectual property, or at least if they asked for some compensation or something reasonable, they wouldn't look AS stupid. As it is, just, wow. Human stupidity. Never fails to deliver.

Well, on the other hand, Hasbro has essentially stolen that font from the company. And if font really doesn't matter, they could have just gone with New Times Roman.
3712777 Again, this company has boasted where it was used. They endorsed their usage of it and were fine with it at all points until now. They have to know they're not going to win with how big Hasbro is, and I don't see any of their lawyers NOT bringing this up in court, so they should've just let it be. Suing them when they have this much against themselves is a waste of time and money.
3713171 It's possible they only agreed to let Hasbro use it for a set amount of time, and Hasbro never renewed it.
