I have a site domain, and apparently the entire damn thing was infected with malware. Fatcow took my site offline until I fixed it. Took me over an hour to manually remove everything, but I think I got it all. I just worry that my domain will be broken now. I was deleting A LOT of stuff. If the malware edited any important files... If I can't somehow update my sites through the admin dashboard, then I might be up shit's creek without a paddle.
It's weird. I'd lose a website I've had for over seven years, and yet I'm not freaking out about it like I thought I would. I mean, I had already backed up my site content. Plus the domain costs me over 200 a year just to keep it live. The only sucky part about it is that if any of my old readers go looking for the site, it'll be gone. And also I'd lose my student portfolio from college. Buuut, I can do that over again.
I dunno. I'm not happy, just kind of resigned, I guess.
