3789727 I live in Alberta, Canada. Apparently my province has a bunch of cattle farming. I don't know grass or grain though, I live in one of the cities. I heard somewhere that grass feeding the cows produces more methane though.

3790889 I am a heavy meat eater and I am all for farming, but North American style factory farming is one of the most nightmarish things I have heard about that actually exists in the world today.

And yes, I think grass feeding does make cows produce more methane, but if that's a bad thing I don't know of an Irishman who ever complained about it. But it does result in healthier cows and higher quality meat (unless your using some kind of additives or some other stuff to increase both, but I've seen Monsanto's track record)
