A Plea for Help for TheLostNarrator. · 1:59pm Mar 14th, 2016
For those who don't know, TheLostNarrator is an author here on Fimfiction and also a powerhouse in the fanfic reading community on YouTube. She is also my best friend. Yesterday she was rushed to hospital and is now facing surgery to remove one, potentially both of her ovaries in order to remove a basketball sized cyst that threatens her life. Lost makes her living from YouTube after being made redundant from her job a while ago and her basic health insurance is only going to cover a fraction of the cost of this surgery, aftercare and the counselling that will follow if things are so serious when the doctors open her up that she has to have a full hysterectomy. As such, a Gofundme campaign has been set up to help her while she is incapacitated. I wouldn't ordinarily bring things like this to Fimfiction, but these are extenuating circumstances.
TL;DR - My best friend is facing invasive surgery that may change her life at a time when she isn't in a financial position to cope with it. Please help by watching the video and spreading the word. Thank you.

I really, truly wish I had money at the moment, as this is the worst news that I have heard in a long time. I will be doing everything I can to earn money and send it straight to the Gofundme. I hope with all my heart that she makes a quick recovery, and I hope that everyone around her is giving her all the support they can. I'm really sorry, Lost, and may you get better soon.
