I was talking to my friend (InfinityShade) on Skype, and we were talking about how Twilight is way too forgiving.

So, now she's inspired and she's going to write a story about Sexist Twilight! XD

To a degree, the whole show is sexist. The only three prominent male characters are a child, a sibling of a main female character, and an omnipotent psychopath who should be in prison. There are no male Alicorns (Big Mac doesn't count!), and the only male royals are both assholes (Prince Blueblood and King Sombra). I understand what Lauren Faust was trying to do, but promoting the strengths of one gender at the expense of another is not the way to do it.

3821723 Yes, but, to be fair, almost every kids show meant for boys have low amount of female characters that are mostly sidekicks or a romantic interest for the male protagonist. It's funny to think about though

In a way, all kid shows are sexist! It just depends what gender it's targeted too.
