Well I guess that's a pretty definitive answer... · 5:00am Mar 27th, 2016
Frankly, I don't see "Darkest Hour" eking out a victory when it's currently 10-49 against it.
So I guess I'm going to be continuing with Transform and Roll Out
If I'm going to do that, though, I believe I should give everybody fair warning. Before I get going on the next chapter in the story, I think I'm going to take the time to rewrite the previous two chapters (or at the very least parts of them). There are some issues that I've had pointed out to me that I really need to fix and before I think I can bring myself to keep going, I'm gonna have to address them.
So I'm going to be doing that mystery one-shot first before getting on that. It might still be a little while before there's an actual new chapter but rest assured I will be working on it.
I still recommend writing the chapters that you want to work on. If it is for a sequel to something incomplete, no need to publish it. Waiting to publish can give you time to further proofread your work. And it may help define the current work.
Take a look at somethings Tatsurou is working on. His two Megaman related 'adopted pony' fics are set in the same universe, but in different centuries. And guess what? Things that happen in the Classic Era affect things that happen in the X era.
So, nothings really stopping you from working on the sequel now. The poll just said to focus on the current fic.
If you need made that sequel for "inspiration" reasons you could still do it as a side proyect but don't publish it yet. I can understand that advance in other direction help you to advance in general better (like if you get stuck in a path, advance for another path can get you access to something that help you overcome in the other path). I hope this donĀ“t sound too hard too understand
but at the end is your desicion.
