...and happy beginning of Friendship is Magic, Season Six!
I hope everyone enjoyed the Season Six premiere. 
I'll admit, my own reaction is mixed, but generally positive. I'll be sure to do an overview of the two-part opener in my blog this week. Today, however, I'm just letting the new episode sink in, and enjoying the fact that a whole new season is upon us.
(That, and I'm recovering from several days of vacation attending conventions. Sadly, between my work schedule and real world limitations on travel and expenses, I have been unable to attend any pony conventions, but I do make sure to at least attend a couple things a year.) 
Here's to another year together, all you wonderful friends, fans and fellow bronies!

Oh cool, what conventions did you go to?
And yeah, a couple of things have me asking questions, but I ultimately enjoyed the premiere, and I thought it was pretty unique.

Personally, I enjoyed the season opener very much, mostly because of the interactions between Spike and Starlight. Those two play off of each other very well, at least from what I've seen thus far.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it.
Personally really enjoyed the premiere. Though it lacked a certain oomph. LArgely because there was less levels of threat going on compared to other premieres.
What i do like though was that it seemd a bit better paced and it had rather good writing. They even had forshadowing and having the solution being complex.
