Long Time, No See! · 3:29pm Mar 28th, 2016
Hey peeps!
So, some of you may have noticed a distinct lack of updates on my end, except of course for that one self-insert nobody cares about for good reason. I want you all to rest assured, and let my recent update of "A Princess And Her Queen" stand as testament to one fact: these stories will not die, not so long as I have any say in the matter. So of course, with "P and Q" updated, that leaves two other stories that a moderate amount of people give a flying sam hell about. So without further ado:
1) "TCB: Setting Things Right": Picking this up again has proven to be one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do in my capacity as an fimfiction author. Not because of trying to keep up with suggestions, though I do realize that a lot of the missteps I've made in the execution of this story have been in trying to focus on a group of characters totally separate from the main canon, or even from Equestria itself. I mean, focusing on a bunch of random humans instead of any sort of ponies on a MY LITTLE PONY FANFIC WEBSITE!? Definitely one of my more boneheaded decisions. But this story is not going to die, and in fact, I hope to shift the focus to where it probably should have been all along: the ponies. The UNCDI diplomats still have a part to play, but I think it's time to admit they just don't work for this audience and quietly put them aside. The endgame will remain the same, but hopefully the path we're going to take there will be a lot more interesting.
And with that, we move on to...
2) "A New Ending":
Oh boy.
Oh boy.
Okay, this one is coming along actually rather nicely. It will probably be at a place where I'm comfortable updating a lot sooner than "TCB:STR," and of course, I ain't spoilin' nothin'. That being said, here's a preview done by the lovely Storypony, an artist on Deviantart that you can find here!
