To preface: This is not a joke. I promised y'all no follower pranks last year, and I'm sticking to that this year as well. Though I did briefly consider reverting to my old username or using this as my avatar...
With that out of the way, I shall get straight to the point. After the Show is back! Re-titled and rewritten from the ground up, it's almost a whole new story, built from far higher-quality writing in an attempt to do justice to the story I originally half-assed as a joke (that somehow launched a ship?) for April Fools' in 2014. At more than three times the length of the original - almost ten thousand words exactly - it's crammed full of better scenes, new material, rounder characterisation, and some serious attention given to the old cloppy bits.
If you liked the original, this just might be your jam. If you didn't like the old, low-effort writing, the work put into this has a chance to change your mind. If you just like Mauxie in general, I hope you enjoy
