And so it's over. There will be no more BUCKs given. (I know, I know, but it's so damn hard to resist.) There will be other pony conventions in the UK, of course -- there are still two to come this year -- but none of them will be quite on the scale of this one. As I've mentioned in the past, I did manage to get along to its 2013 and 2014 iterations, and what I've seen on the livestream and so on felt pretty similar in size and scope to 2014. Given how much I enjoyed that one, it does seem that, very pleasingly, BUCK has gone out on a high. I'm sad that I wasn't there, but in the end it just wasn't workable. Still, anyone who attended one or more of these conventions is a part of a very special group. 
So, now there truly is no more BUCKS to be given.

What did you watch on the live stream?
3862341 Not a huge amount, as it broke down a fair bit.
Also, I was out for some of the weekend, eg at the SVR. But I did get to see some of the SSC, a good chunk of Peter New's panel and the entire closing ceremony (including the conga beforehand 
). Mind you, someone said the flashfic contest wasn't well organised, but I didn't see that so can't really comment.

Were you involved in the Speedfic at BUCK?
I was the guy who t̶o̶o̶k̶ ̶o̶v̶e̶r̶ stepped in to keep it alive when nobody showed up to run it. I've been trying to find the people who were there so that we can collect the stories together.
I'd also appreciate it if you know anyone else who was at the speedfic to contact me as well.
