Another great fanfic idea from the official magazine

This is the title of the main story in the current issue of the (European) official MLP mag. In it, Twilight gets a letter from her brother admitting that he's worried about being a father. Twi sets off for Canterlot. Her plan? To help Shiny be a good father by reminding him what a good brother he was. Because, you know, these things are pretty much the same, right?

Is the European comic any good? IDW has been kinda in a slump lately, and I could always use a good pony comic.

Sounds like a great comedy/slice of life fic though.

3888745 It's heavily aimed at kids, and the stories reflect that. Not in the same market at all as the IDW comics. The brony crowd (including me) mostly buy it for the figurines they include some months. These are larger than a blind bag, and significantly better quality -- not quite up to Funko Mystery Minis, but not far off. This month we have Shining Armor himself (in his wedding outfit); last month we had Trixie.* EQD's feature on the Trixie issue (of course) gives you a pretty good idea of what the figure is like.

* The UK version (not sure about the others) also had a two-sided poster: the S5 cast on one side and the latest map of Equestria on the other.
