Bucket of problems · 6:08pm Apr 22nd, 2016
Okay, so, I've been very busy with real world responsibilities and headaches. Finally moved my grandmother into an assisted living home, which ends a three year ordeal of her ruining my parent's lives and making my life even more miserable than it was. I'm back to therapy, and my therapist was less than thrilled with my current state of affairs. We're working on a solution, which requires me to stop drinking and actually take care of my body and my mind. I've been intentionally living off peanut butter, Red Bull, and hard cider for quite some time now. It's not good.
I'm hating my job more and more, and after sitting down and looking at what I want to do with my life, I've decided to take some risks. I've withdrawn a fair amount of money from my savings and will be using it to buy a decent video camera and webcam. I've wanted to make videos for entertainment for years, but now I see there's money to be made on YouTube. Now, I have confidence in myself and really believe I have the ability to entertain on a much wider scale than writing pony fanficition, but I don't expect to reach Pewdiepie levels of internet fame.
I found advice and inspiration from the strangest place, and it really got me thinking I have what it takes to make a name for myself as a YouTube entertainer. Markiplier (my favorite YouTube personality) was playing Five Nights at Freddy F**kboys drunk when he went off on a tangent about how he's made YouTube work for him, and it gave me a lot of insight. So, I've started a YouTube channel and begun gathering ideas for some basic videos that should be moderately funny. It's going to take some time and work, but I need to start small, and I'm prepared for that. Just as I began writing on FimFiction, I know that with persistence, I will eventually earn followers and make a name for myself.
ALSO, I bought RPG Maker MV and have been dumping a serious amount of time and effort into Tale of a Turncoat. What I have written on this site is nothing compared to what I've developed so far for the game. It's a lot of learning though, and I'm not exactly savvy with pixel art or coding. But the story is there, and a good combat system will hopefully entice people to play further. I'll have more updates when I have a playable demo, which YOU guys will be the first to try.
So, I thank you if you've read this far, and I hope you all have a good weekend.
I am curious on what sort of videos you will create... hmm... Please tell me when it's ready, can't promise I'll subscribe though. I don't subscribe to someone just for them, I subscribe if I want to see more of their stuff. Oh bother, I yammered on... Also, you have my interest piqued with Tales of the Turncoat, I think I'll purchase RPG Maker just for it! Darn it! I yammered on again!
Oh buck, everything came out wrong... PLEASE BE OKAY! PLEASE TELL ME I DIDN'T SEND YOU SPIRALING BACK DOWN THE PIT OF DESPAIR WITH MY HORRIBLE WORDING! PLEASE DON'T START LIVING OFF OF PEANUT BUTTER, HARD CIDER, AND REDBULL AGAIN!
