Time to Retire · 5:53am May 18th, 2016
This announcement has been some time coming now, but I think now I should finally be the one to speak on the matter.
I am retiring from FiMFiction.
With the way things are shaping up in my life, keeping track of these multiple websites for things such as Six Ways and other incoming project is becoming more and more of an unnecessary hassle. That is why, after about three years, I am putting a halt to my account on FimFiction. It's been a nice few years, but the fact of the matter is that as fanfiction becomes more and more of a niche thing to me, I'm spending more time on my DeviantART than ever before. I'm working on many more original ideas these days--ones which I hope will push me closer to where I want to be in life.
And speaking of life, I should mention that since I first set up this account, I have started college and been through two jobs--one of which I am currently holding. I'm making $9.25/hr as a web editor for one of my college's websites. The further I go into real life, the sillier fanfiction becomes.
DeviantART has been sort of a central hub for me these past few years--and now with my FimFiction account slowly shutting down, I those of you who wish to still receive updates from me go to my DeviantART.
Before I go, I would like to thank all of you--followers and viewers alike--for making my experience in FiMFiction unforgettable. I'll always remember the massive amount of positive reception My Daughter received--and how Six Ways: Unity received a lot of the same praise nearly a year after. Now I'm left to scratch my head as to why so many people seem to take issue with Six Ways: Duty. You guys made my enjoyment of this website possible, and for that I thank you all again.
I hope to see you all on DeviantART and I hope you keep writing!
