Slowly getting back into writing · 5:28am Jun 5th, 2016
Hello all you wonderful readers. I am sorry I abandoned you. I just seemed to lose interest in writing anymore, and although the sequel to IFL was technically finished in my head... I was trying to add a more light-hearted chapter with a date scene and scenes with Twilight and Sweetheart again and got lost along the way.
It even seems my poor tumblr has slowed down in my art submissions. I still get ideas, I'm still reading fan stories and wanting to draw and write again, but never have much motivation for it. I seem to like to sleep the most of anything
Anyway, I went through some of my old writing including 'Finding Harmony' this past week and felt a spark of motivation. Of course this was late at night with work the next day, but since its the weekend now... I hope to write something again. I also came across this picture on Equestria Daily.

It was a lovely representation of Aunt and Niece having tea that I liked to try to show in IFL 1 and 2, and further motivated me so that I am sitting here writing this post and contemplating opening up the drive file to work on tonight. One day I really hope to intertwine my depiction of Cadance in IFL into canon at least somewhat. I wanted to write about the Nightmare Moon incident, Canterlot wedding and even further explore the crystal empire. I even had a rough idea for a foal and seeing little impish Twily become an alicorn.
So, just know that I'm still around. Still coming up with ideas and I still read stories and love all the other descriptions and theories about Cadance out there. Hope they have satisfied any of your curiosities about our still mostly unexplored little princess's past and future.
I'll hopefully see you soon!
PS, I'm always at Bronycon. I usually have a sticker or badge with teen Cadance on it along with my further developed cosplay. This year I'll be with a Shining Armor, and on Sunday I'll be Dean Cadance. Hope to see you there!
I'm always glad to hear about renewed inspiration!
3999722 It's your lovely stories that have been keeping my reading list full and exciting. I thank you for the comment. I hope to contribute more to Cadance's story soon
>sees Kuromi posting a blog post

YEHES!
ahahaHAHHAHAHaha!!
This was a big, beautiful surprise for me. I love IFL, and if I recall right, it was one of the earlier fics that I found and really really liked.
Seeing the sequel go on would be an amazing thing to happen.

Aw, thanks! As do I, obviously.
Great to hear from you again, kuromi! You're not alone by far, you know, in finding it difficult to get back into writing. In fact, I'd say you're in the majority, since even those who are producing lots now will very probably strike long dry spells. I see it happen all the time.
Why not try writing just 100-200 words every night? It's such a small amount you'd be done in ten or twenty minutes, and over time you'll end up writing more than if you had shot for a thousand or two but never started. It's worked for me quite well.
This will be my fourth time at Bronycon. Everytime you mention you're going I resolve to try to sat hi, but I never manage it. Hopefully this year I will ^.^
Yayyyyyyy~
4001589 You've always been a great motivation for me too! Such a loyal fan! I'll try to post my schedule at Bronycon once I know it. Then we can maybe meet! Thanks so much
I wrote about 200 words last night then got stuck doing research... because I do that sometimes. Look at how military schools are structured for Shining Armor, about Medieval Princesses and Princes to write believable situations for cooped up Cadance too. Hope to see you there!
4000165 Thanks for your loyal following too! I'll have sometime for you to read soon I'm sure. I even have an ipad mini and keyboard so I can write on my long work breaks now (only had a huge laptop to drag around before)

Sounds great :D
Ah, good ol' research. I must say the Internet has become my writing companion. Though that hasn't made it any easier when it comes to procrastination :p
Oh good, another author off the dead list.
I await your work with anticipation.
This is great news!
Now if only that one person who does that in between story The Call of Duty is able to do more for that as well, it would be even better!
