SkeIePone

Hey, it's me, Skelly! I'm that music skeleton horse guy who made the music for the story and stuff.

    Return definite.

    My return is a definite.

However before doing so to continue my stories, I will require at least two serious and competent cowriters or editors, as well as a storyboard assistant to help me outline my stories and chapter propositions.
Among other things would include help to maintain a Discord chat room and someone to help draw up and enforce a schedule.

So here are the open positions:

    A return?

    I might return.

    Maybe.

    My former statements still stand.
I still have a firm belief that the fandom is dying.

But my life has been a bit empty these past months.

I've found myself returning to my scripts and wondering "what if I had written these better?"

So my stories may one day see editing again.

And they may even be continued.

    Leaving.

I've left the fandom to pursue my interests elsewhere. You can continue to follow my antics on Twitter at @MrFetchD , where I will be detailing a "podcast" of sorts.

I like this album cover a lot more.

New album cover. I like this one a lot more than the other one.

Most songs done. Working on 4 more. I need inspiration. So anyone who knows of any good, lengthy fan fictions is welcome to suggest them to me.

Story Idea and The Prospect of Death · 4:10am Jul 2nd, 2016

Felix once toyed with the idea of Tartarus.

I had an idea recently regarding the 'SkelePone' character. Seeing the character in full body with a cloak (like the current logo) made me imagine the SkelePone as something like the 'lich'.

So here's the pitch:

The SkelePone refers to himself as 'Cronus', although he was formerly known as 'Havenskies', a prospective unicorn from the time of Celestia's rise to power. He was one of the many students of Starswirl the Bearded, but Havenskies often felt ignored because his abilities seemed to meager compared to the others.
So Havenskies does something drastic.
Coming across an ancient book of dark magic written by Grogar the Dread-Ram, Havenskies learns dark magic, becoming one of the first ponies to do so. Starswirl is disgusted by Havenskies' gruesome magic that revolves around fear. So Starswirl expels him from Canterlot's universities of magic, and has Celestia banish the stallion. Havenskies continued to read the book of dark magic, and chose the name Cronus for himself. He eventually found the key to immortality. After performing a complex ritual upon himself, Havenskies died. And Cronus, Havenskies' consciousness that remained in his corpse, rose. He eventually broke into Tartarus, the monster prison, hoping to rule it like a nation.
Cronus returned to Canterlot as a powerful sorcerer whose body was beginning to rot away. Starswirl is still disgusted, and the two enter a conflict. Cronus is defeated, and cast down into the deepest, highest security vaults of Tartarus. Starswirl succumbs to his injuries. Angered, Celestia and Luna have Cronus sentenced for an eternity of isolation.
Fast forward a few thousand years, after the birth of a baby Alicorn, Cronus feels the pulse of magic and comes to the conclusion that his time to rise once more has come. Twilight Sparkle and the others would try to fend off the new self-proclaimed 'Ruler of Tartarus and Creator of Nightmares'. After incarcerating Celestia and Luna, Cronus would tempt Starlight Glimmer with power and magic she'd never known of. And Cronus would be especially interested in Starlight's time-travel spell. (Something he had pulled from Sunburst, after attacking the Crystal Empire as it slept). Discord would make an appearance as well.
The story would be a Dark, Horror or Thriller, with the Adventure tag. Story doesn't really have a title yet.

I don't even know if it'd be worth working on or not, considering how most new stories of this kind get down-voted into irrelevance by passive-aggressive nerds who want to keep milking already featured stories for content instead of finding new stories to help support.

All edginess aside, my musical hiatus allows me a lot of thought for stories. And thanks to new help on ROOTS and Relic, I can focus on additional works. That will hopefully hit it off and give me a reason to actually do something for the fandom.

I mean, the alternative is to leave the fandom.

Which has arguably been slowly dying since 2012. No disasters may have happened, but 2012 marked the death of the bronies with rapper Yelling At Cats' death threat against cartoonist Yamino. People used to think Bronies were oddities and monsters and freaks. Now, Bronies are kind of just... there.

The fandom is still growing yes. It always does during the sudden splurges of episodes between hiatuses. But these newcomers are getting younger and younger. And while young minds are interesting and creative, yes... They're kind of obnoxious. And repetitive. And very, very abusive. Each enormous influx of younger fans leads veterans to just drop out of the fandom faster than flies from a bug zapper. These vets are repulsed by the behavior these newcomers exhibit and so they just leave to hopefully retain whatever fame they gained whilst in the fandom in the first place.

And when these vets leave, other vets leave. Because the whole point of the fandom was friendship, man. And it's no fun being in the fandom if your friends aren't there with you.

Well, that's all for now. I don't know if I'll be leaving the fandom any time soon.

But I also don't want to be here when it falls to complete shit.

ANYWAYS, thanks for reading.

RIP,
SkelePone.
