Thank the lord that the Chinese leakers told us Litten's final evolution won't be Fire/Fighting, but rather Fire/Dark. Still, I'm not a fan of its design.
I know I said many times that a Pokemon isn't just about its design, and I stay true to that! I'm sure this thing will be brutal in the metagame! But design still matters, if you really look at it. Personally would have gone for a more feminine look, much like Ryuko from Kill la Kill. I mean, not EXACTLY like her, but you get the picture.
I wonder if there are any more spots for Rowlet and Popplio...
I kinda noticed a weird thing here. Litten is obviously going for a more masculine physical design, Popplio has a more feminine final evolution, and with its obscured face Rowlet's final evolution has a more ambiguous design. I'm sure that's not what the designers were intending, but it's kinda weird I noticed that.
And ywah, honestly not digging the design. I do like the general "flare" of the design, but overall I think its the weakest compared to the other two.
Did the leaker say something about Popplios type?

Nearly a decade of starters being Fire/Fighting-types. Needless to say, people are exhausted with them and just want something else for a change. Thank god for Delphox!

I would love it to be just a Fire-type, but for that we'd have to get a time machine, travel into the past and slap some sense into Masuda before Generation 5 came out.
The down side to those leaks, Littin is still my all time favorite stage one starter but this... ugh.
