I have recently undertaking the project of rewriting an older novel of mine which was a rewrite of a fanfiction I did. It's been interesting so far and has come out very different during this iteration of writing it. There were various issues with the original rewrite that needed addressed on the larger scale, plus I am testing out a new writing style for a novel. I have so far dubbed it the Episodic Format.
The idea is that the novel is comprised of a series of episodes, each episode being a novella in terms of length. This current project will be comprised of three episodes, each one working towards a climatic ending with connecting plot points. I did something similar with the Heart of Stone, though that was a long time ago and I had almost no idea what I was doing throughout most of that project. So here goes to me hoping I learned something. XD
Thought I'd share this little bit of info with ya'll and see if you have any advice or thoughts on what I'm currently trying out. Hopefully it'll all pan out when I'm done, or if I'm super lucky I've inspired someone to take this concept and do something brilliant. XD
