State of the Author

Hey, guys! Sorry that it's been so long since I've done anything on here. Things had gotten a little crazy over these last few months. To keep a long story short, work had taken a turn for the worse for me. My hours got reduced, which directly affected my income, and I had to spend a lot of my free time doing odd jobs and looking around for additional income. I had also been working in unfavorable conditions for a while, largely a few coworkers who had nasty attitudes and all that jazz. It really sucked the joy out of me just trying to remain positive around them.

All that is irrelevant now. I quit a few days ago, and am currently looking for a new job. Until then, much of my time is going to be devoted to the house and my car, both of which need quite a bit of attention.

I'm going to try and find my drive for writing again, but I think it's about time I tried something new. I've seriously considered putting my current projects on hiatus and moving over to writing one-offs and short stories. Right now, I just need to have some fun again, and I'm not sure if The Last Letter is going to do that for me.
