Well on one end I was watching the original MLP movie the other night with my best guy friend and of course this being my "blessed" time of the month, he wisely came bearing my "please don't murder me" package he brings me every 3 or so months (disclosure: mine aren't regular because of birth control) and sat with me while

Inspirational Thoughts of the week #13 · 7:05pm Dec 23rd, 2016

*sigh* I know I missed last week's blog but I purposely did so (The day after my birthday= Me No Write Inspire Blog!!:rainbowlaugh:). Anyways, I do have one for this week and a returning favorite OC commentator. Everypony welcome back....Crystal Night!

Hiya everypony! Glad to be back in these blogs!

Excellent, and we're glad to have ya, but today's topic is a bit bigger...so big, that I need 2 commentators today! So will everyone please also welcome back...Graceful Sonata!

Hi everypony! So great to see you all again.

Wait, Wha--

Okay, so today's topic...*flips through idea book*

Romance

Yes, Romance. That one single concept that most can't completely grasp. (especially in the more....erm...intimate aspects...). Anyways, I personally am a natural romantic (despite the occasional "dry spell") and am a matchmaker. I think romance happens in due time to everyone! Now, I'll turn it over to 2 OCs for their take on the topic.

Okay. As the obviously older one between us two and the only one married, I'll go first. Romance is....well......Romance can be like a....roller coaster. Much like a relationship, Romance can have it's ups and downs. It's how you feel at the end of the day and how you handle each situation that matters most. I've only been married 2 years and together with him as a "coltfriend" since I was 14 years old. I'm 22 and He's 23. We've been through so much to let each other go! Even when a..."small accident" occured that left us in real trouble, he stood by me and loved me through it all. Don't get me wrong, we've had our disagreements and ONE time a really big fight. Yet...we always made up in the end. My husband, when we were still dating, would do just about anything and everything to try to romance me! As funny as it was it often worked too. And here we are 2 years later expecting our 2nd foal sometime next autumn.

*A collective gasp*

Huh? Oh! I guess for those who didn't know that....surprise!

Okay....aside from that bombshell that was just delivered...I'd like to give the younger pony's (though not that much younger since I just turned 19) opinion on Romance. Most teens think of Romance as something to play around and experiment with. But the older you get, the more you learn to appreciate it. Me? I actually do have a fiancé. *squee* His name's Wolf Dancer and we're to be married next June! Before it's said, yes. I know 6 months is not enough time to plan an super elaborate wedding, but ours will be simplistic and small. Anyways I'm getting off topic. Romance! It's a cruel wonderful thing! It can lead to quite the adventures but, it can also be as simple as taking a walk or breathing. As Crystal said, it ain't easy but it is worth it in the end.

Excellent points made my ponies! Now Question Time!: What comes to mind when you think of Romance?

Til' next time,
-GW 2018
