The Anonymous HiE is the man with no name: that part of us with no identity other than itself, that which is not seen in the world, always in the distance — hidden, somewhere behind.
He exists as himself, for himself, without attachment to conventional morality.
He is not here to save the ponies of Equestria, or to progress their society.
He has a different agenda.
A true resident of the frontier, he is the uncompromising uniqueness of the vastness beyond good and evil.
Unlike ordinary humans, he has no. . . judgment.
Present for those brief moments of transition, only the dying can see him as he truly is.
He is the un-manifest. The rugged angel. The mystery.
He makes no apologies.
He liberates the conflicted from their battles between “yes” and “no”.
He is a sharpshooter.
He is a cord cutter.
He has no reason — he just knows.
He forms a trinity. One has to be in the grave, one has to hang, and one has to walk away.
Or perhaps... he is a figure of tragedy.
