    New History Chapter

Back from the dead to bring you another chapter of History Reimagined! Sorry it's been so long. Real life still sucks, plus last semester was crazy busy even before 2020 went completely off the rails and into the dump before getting struck with lightning and catching fire.

    New Horsewords! Yay!

So I got tired of making blog posts that never led to any actual content, so I did it in reverse order: Content first. Guess what? It worked.

    History Re-edited

Hey guys! I'm going to resume writing for History Reimagined very soon. (And I know I've said that several times now, but no seriously, I mean it this time.) Now, asking you to reread everything that came before could come across as rude, but honestly, it's probably necessary. And maybe not just necessary for you guys but for me as well, as there may be a few minor details I've forgotten

Hello again and welcome to my third weekly Fandom Music Friday. As 2016 draws to a close, I can't say for you all, but I know I've personally seen a lot of posts summing up who all has passed on this year, perhaps most recently Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia's actress) and her mother a mere day later. The brony community lost an orchestral composer this year who I only know as MelodicPony. Apparently, he passed at the age of 27 of a stroke earlier this year. The beauty of art is that it often lives on, surpassing the life of its creator. I wouldn't have had it this way, of course, but I have this opportunity now to share with you all the following work by this artist, "Luna's Determination."

A calming, soothing piece of music, the non-vocal qualities of this music make it a go-to for me while I write. In fact, I listened to this as I wrote parts of History Lesson's Canterlot night raid scene. Melodic Pony in his time wrote a number of other equally beautiful pony-inspired works which you should definitely go check out. I personally recommend Princess Twilight Orchestral Suite. I find it quite fitting for a brony who earned his wings.

Twenty-seven. He was only twenty-seven. Twenty-seven year-olds shouldn't die, at least not in my naïve, sheltered twenty-year old mind; and they certainly shouldn't die of strokes. That's, like, an old person death. What if I knew I only had seven years? What would I have to show for it? For five years, I stood on the outside of the FiM fandom, looking in, but never participating. I regret those five years. I regret not pursuing my dreams, writing my stories, getting to be a part of this special fandom. How much more could I have been? As you and I enter the new year in a few hours, remember that life is short. So use this arbitrary starting point in the revolution of this ball of rock around its luminous ball of plasma and source of light and heat as a chance to assess your goals and your plans for achieving them, because life is short, and there are few feelings worse than regret.

History Lesson Progress:
          Next chapter goal: 5-6K words
          Next chapter progress: 5.5K
                    Currently editing/revising
          Remaining chapters: 2
Likely upload time: Early to middle next week
Reason for delay since last blog: Christmas celebrations with family and friends. Apologies for the continued delays.
