The year 2017 is starting out as another great year for Fallout: Equestria fans. 
The biggest announcement is the third print run for Fallout: Equestria The good ponies at Absolutely Everything gave us the good news:
In celebration of the 5th anniversary of its completion, it is my great pleasure to announce the third printing of Fallout: Equestria!
This is the complete, unabridged story of Littlepip and her journey out of the Stable into the war-torn wastelands, reformatted and printed as a single deluxe leather-bound book with a foil-stamped title and spine. The book is about 6x9", and will stand proudly on your bookshelf.
The Print Project is supported entirely by Fallout fans (like you!), so the ordering process is a little unique. Put simply, everyone signs up first, then we request quotes for all the books needed, and we divide the total across everyone who signed up. Next we'll email out invoices, and after everyone pays we can start printing books. A month or two later when they're all finished, we pack them up and ship them out to everyone!

In other Fo:E news, our friend Strategic Jordan has decided to kick off 2017 with another marathon of his "Let's Read Fallout: Equestria" series! 
For this marathon, he will be posting a new video each day, covering (at least) the entirety of Chapter 28: The Hour of the Wolf. The first video in his series is below:

Finally, I wanted to give a shout-out to the work I've seen being put into the upcoming the Fallout: Equestria webcomic "Days Gone By", written by Dannykat with art is done by the incredible ElMutanto.The crew working on it has produced nineteen pages so far, with a prologue by Kinga Ren Kossowska and a cover done by Ashley Kleczka. It will be hosted on ElMutanto's DeviantArt as well as its own Tumblr blog.

In the meantime, my favorite two Fallout: Equestria webcomics -- King Koders "Post-Fallout Equestria" and BruinsBrony216's "Fallout Equestria: Grounded" -- are still going strong, and have posted new pages within the last few weeks. What does it mean when the story is unabridged? Does that mean the story will have some differences from the original?
Hmm. Heroes is the last of the "Big 5" FO:E fics that's still incomplete, and it only has two updates left before it ends. I suppose 2017 will mark the end of the "classic era" (if you can call it that) of FO:E. I guess it's fitting that Absolutely Everything is making a single leather-bound book this year.
I should probably read this story at some point.
I have to congrat you on creating fallout equestria. Something so great that it echoes throughout the fandom.
Though won't lie part of me hopes to one day see a new project from you. Albeit i guess the questoin is if lightning can strikes twice in such a project :P. You helped me get into fanfiction and fallout in general.
Though the web comic you linked...... IIIkinda don't like. Mainly cause it trivlializes littlepip's fate.
I was so so excited when I saw the announcement for the third printing.
Like, sure, I already bought into the second printing and those two volumes rest proudly on my bookshelf, but leather-bound. One volume. Foil embossed. That's what I'm talking about!

A chance to own a hardcopy of Fallout: Equestria is tempting. I need to make sure I actually have the money and bookshelf space to add it to my collection of various games and books.
4376588 "Abridged" means to have something shortened from it's original state. So when they say it is unabridged, they mean it won't have any changes from the original.
At least I think I have that right.
Whelp, there goes the last of my Christmas money...
And I'm already own Russian-translated hard-cover copy of FoE :). There is also some rumors about plans for printing Russian translation of Horizons...
Plus it FoE that bring me to MLP. Before FoE I don't know anything about ponies.

Thank you KKat, you story was the first My Little Pony fanfiction I ever read, mostly because it combined 2 of my favorite franchises, but also because it was the first story I ever read that made me care about the characters and their struggles throughout the story.
You didn't just create a story, KKat, you created a whole universe and while the "Big 5" stories in the FO: E universe are coming to a close, I can't wait to see what some others are cooking up.
