Looking for a new editor (closed)

Greetings all. While my current editors are great, time marches on for all, and one has had to bow out due to other matters eating his time. So I am putting this call out for someone with some skill at both proofing and pre-reading/brainstorming to fill in for him.

Discord is a must. (Not the character).

    PM me if you’re interested.

    Update on next work

Since I have been a bit quiet, I figured all of you should get an update. I am working on a new fic, as I mentioned somewhere before... i’m going to be pre-writing several chapters and then posting them on a weekly basis once they are all complete.

Once those start, I will be returning to work on Beyond Equestria, and try to wrap that up.

MotH Chapter might have been a bit early

So after some consideration from comments and my "pain in the ass" editor*, I have decided to unpublish the latest chapter and write a new one to happen before it.

    *his words not mine.

I live!! · 6:42am Feb 3rd, 2017

Hey everyone, for those who don't know, 2 days after new years, my town got hit bad by a tornado so I've been without power, home (had to move), and more importantly to you all: internet (with which for me to post chapters) until yesterday.

So I write this to let you all know that I'm not dead, and that I'm also starting nursing classes, so my writing speed will be taking a hit. But it is by no means grinding to a halt, so hang in there. See you all next chapter!

glad to hear your all right. good luck with your classes.

Glad to hear you are okay! *hugs* And I hope things can go better for you soon!

Glad you alive :rainbowlaugh: get better

Glad to hear that you're okay! I cannot imagine how horrifying it would be to see a tornado decimate your town. I'm so thankful I live in Washington State where there are no tornadoes. I would shit my pants if I ever saw one, let me tell you!

Although, we do have volcanoes; Mt. Rainier is a staple of my skyline -- as I live twenty miles westward of it -- so if it did ever choose to erupt, I would be dead. Fuck, I'm getting off topic, but I just looked it up and here's what it says:

How Hazardous is Mount Rainier?

Mount Rainier has erupted less often and less explosively in recent millennia than its well-known neighbor, Mount St. Helens. However, the proximity of large population centers in valleys susceptible to lahars [massive mudflow] from Mount Rainier makes it a far greater threat to life and property than Mount St. Helens for the following reasons:
Population and development at risk: About 80,000 people and their homes are at risk in Mount Rainier's lahar-hazard zones. Key infrastructure such as major highways and utilities cross through these zones, which also contain economically important businesses, hydroelectric dams, and major seaports.

Size and frequency of lahars: During the past several thousand years large lahars have reached the Puget Sound lowland on average at least once every 500 to 1,000 years. Smaller flows not extending as far as the lowland occurred more frequently. If future large lahars happen at rates similar to those of the past, there is roughly a 1-in-10 chance of a lahar reaching the Puget Sound lowland during an average human lifespan.

There may be little or no advance warning: Studies by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) scientists show that at least one of Mount Rainier's recent large landslide-generated lahars may have occurred when the volcano was quiet and not providing the warning signs typical of a restless and erupting volcano. In such a rare case, the only warning could be a report that a lahar is already underway.

Huh. Sure, it's unlikely to happen anytime soon, but I think I want to move where the tornadoes are (at least you can drive away from those!) :rainbowlaugh:
:ajsleepy:

I am happy that your okay

Glad you're ok, do good in those nursing classes!

Great to hear you are back. I just reread Of the Hive last week and it's still one of my favourite stories here.

Good luck with your studies. I'm eager to get to read more of your works again.

OUCH.

Glad you're safe. Best of luck to you as you work to piece it together.

glad your okay

Great that your safe, best of luck with the classes!

I'm sorry to hear you've been having such a rough time of it. :fluttershysad: I hope things get better for you...

Good to hear you're alright!
Worst we get here in Denmark are roofs flying off by the stray storm. Regardless, I'm glad things are okay for you.

Just glad you're safe.

I moved from a hill in a forest to a clear flatland recently, so I'm a bit more wary of tornadoes. Anyway, glad you're safe!

in an alternate world there are no more sci-pones

Gah, that must suck. Glad to hear you lived and recovered, and may you have better luck in the future.
