So I most likely never said this but for a little over a year I was fighting with Consumers Energy well me my father and my landlord that is over a unpaid bill of $1,738.34 during this time i was without power for about 6 months of it the previous tenants in the apartment below mine jumped the boxes is the best way i can describe it and i noticed a jump in my bill i would normally pay about $29.00 a month (single 3rd worker) then the bill went to around $134.95 a month (give or take) at this point i should've just had my power shut off but thought i could get it straightened out (not knowing at the time about the jump) needless to say it built up as i refused to pay for a bill that was not mine fastforword a bit the apartment below mine has a new tenant as the other people skipped town the power company last time i talk with them that is said they did not care as the power went through my box it was my bill (go big business ) as winter was coming thankfully my landlord had power put into his name and i just pay him what's owed well today i finally had what i needed to pay the debt collector that was assigned to my acount it took all of my tax refund (a whopping $517.38 total of state and fed) and most of my bank account to do it but now so long as the bank doesn't freak out over the largest transaction i have ever done in the 3 years i have been with them I should be able to afford food that is not roman in nature in about a month (so sick of roman) I think i had a point to this but I in all honesty can't remember but hay if you can learn anything from this airing real life sucky-ness then my work here is done
