Hey, all! I'm back... sorta
I know the last time I made any sort of major appearance was near the end of October with the publication of Seeker. After that, well, this can explain what happened:
Humor aside, I suffered performance burnout; it sucked. It felt like someone flipped a switch and everything stopped. However, like that peasant said, I got better. I am able to write small things at least. For example:
“My little ponies, a vast and terrible evil spreads throughout our land. All it touches becomes ash and stone, pestilence and disease. I will send you, my Champions, to face it. The road to victory will be fraught with danger so make no mistake, this great evil will do everything in its power to destroy you. No matter the cost, no matter the sacrifice, you must banish this monster from our lands. Ensure that its vile touch never again wanders beyond its infernal cage.
May the Sun illuminate your path
And the Moon guard your dreams.
Let the Love grow strong,
And the Magic roam free.”
These scribblings make it feel like I’m loosening a rusted bolt or trying to twist open a stubborn lid. With each attempt, I write more, I write better, and I feel something; I think that it is motivation? As is, I have not written anything for any of the stories on this site so until I kick my butt into gear (getting editor(s), pre-reader(s), proof-reader(s)) I will put pretty much all of the stories except for one on hiatus. That one story is what I will work on and when that is complete I’ll move on to the next one and so on. Thank you all for reading this.
