Review #102 - Zeno's Paradox, The Paradox of the Ravens · 5:02am May 12th, 2017

Woohoo, I get my Chromebook back tomorrow! However, seeing how that time is not yet come, have some reviews:

Zeno's Paradox by VitalSpark
The Paradox of the Ravens by Vital Spark

Zeno's Paradox by VitalSpark
(Random, Slice of Life)
Twilight Sparkle proves she can win a race against Rainbow Dash. All she needs is a tiny head start.

Breath in *Ssiiiiiigggghhhh*. That's not how acceleration, velocity, displacement, and speed work, dearest Bookhorse. Anyway, this is a ponified version of Zeno's Paradox, sometimes called the Dichotomy Paradox. And now I analyze Twilight. Twilight is, at the least, confident. But, as a very famous doctor once said, "Only idiots know the answers." And this goes for Twilight. She, for some reason unbeknownst to me, does not know basic physics. Or she does, and just want to hurt Rainbow's brain. And then for Rainbow, who I feel so bad for. She, too, does not understand basic physics. Which makes sense considering what we see in the show. This one really is just a ponified version of a once-considered-paradox.

And that is it's greatest weakness, that there's not much other than the paradox. Also, Twilight not knowing basic physics in contrast to philosophy bother me a lot.

Recommendation: Worth Reading if you care for paradoxes. (It was a fun, educational read. But nothing other than the paradox).

The Paradox of the Ravens by VitalSpark
(Random, Slice of Life)
Twilight Sparkle tries to make Rainbow Dash's head explode with pure logic.

Review
Well, think of Zeno's Paradox, except turn it into The Paradox of the Ravens. However, this one does have some comedy. And while I'm tempted to just copy/paste the previous review in, I won't due to differences in paradoxes... and that's not how I role. Twilight is clearly meaner than in the previous story, though no less idiotic. However, this is not due to a problem with physics, it is due to a problem with logic and not knowing of albino ravens. And poor, poor Rainbow Dash who know's neither what Twilight is saying, nor of albino ravens. And it all ends up being a confusing mess for RD. Oh, and one little nitpick:

“That makes no sense whatsoever,” Rainbow said.
“Prove it.”

No, no, no... that is not how you do it. Rainbow wouldn't try to prove that it doesn't make sense, she would try to prove it does make sense, and if she can't, then she knows it doesn't.

The greatest weakness, then, would have to be the exact same as the last story. Not much there except for failed philosophy.

Recommendation: Worth Reading for learning possibilities only. (Interesting read, bothered me a little more than the last one).

Lol this is the first "pradox themed" set of reviews ive ever seen!

Interesting stuff, yea i think twilight was either out of character or trolling dash on purpose
