After posting chapter 4 of Cosmic Lotus, I updated the cover picture and it looks a lot cooler now. Not perfect, but try finding an artist that does good ponies AND spaceships!
Also belatedly added a picture of Emerald Green that I forgot to put into the story. While it's by Kat Miller, I did not commission that one - the OC's owner donated it. Thanks!
Also got my third thumbs-down (so far). Seems that some people didn't like the content of this episode, I suppose.
It doesn't fit their "head cannon"
Though if you haven't gotten a few thumbs down here, I figure you're not doing something right.
Apologies if you've answered this elsewhere and I missed it. How much knowledge of the Chakats is necessary to follow this story? I haven't read any of your Chakat stories (yet, there look to be a lot) and was wondering if I'd be lost when everyone arrives on Chakona.
One tenth of the votes being thumbs-down is about standard. Besides, this lets you know you are pushing envelopes.

While I will be trying to write the chakat-related material keeping in mind that many Fimfiction readers will know little to nothing about them, a basic knowledge will enhance your experience. If you don't wish to read any of the Chakat Universe stories, may I suggest that you look over the Introduction To Chakats on my website to give you an overview of them.

Maybe being a Chakat expert won't matter that much, if things are seen from the Pony point of view? But then again, it will be fun to see how much they get wrong. Good thing they've at least seen carnivores.
I'm a bit worried about how many of the command crew are going to get drug tested when they get back home for seeing little colorful ponies... ;-)
