Random farts facts~~~~~~~~~~~~~ WITH EXTRA SARCASM!
Farts are smelly.
Farts are stinky.
Farts are all of the above when one does it in a tent on a hot day filled with multiple people.
Don’t light farts on fire. They are flammable.
Thoughts & Opinions~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It’s annoying how hard it is to emulate specific hardware. It’s always just the generic stuff that you get to emulate. Everything else requires years of research and dedication just because it’s supposedly “non-standard”.
Hoo boy, y’all are gonna be in for a massive shift in general story writing once I decide to have the motivation to get back to daily updates again. I’ve got the plans to set up the entire story universe and multiple stories to go with it, but I don’t feel like doing much writing these days.
If I call the next iteration of the Lab Horse series “Human Horse”, than not only will it be even bigger of a blatantly obvious spoiler, but it’ll be something that just doesn’t roll off the tongue very well. This is why I’m still debating on whether or not I should keep the traditional naming style for the series.
My internet’s been working surprisingly well for the past week or so now, with almost no signal drops of any kind and perfectly smooth connection. The only problem is, I haven’t played really any sort of multiplayer beyond the basic mobile games that I now get routinely PWN-ed in some of my favorite games. This includes BTD Battles, which is a surprisingly bandwidth-heavy game that I usually try to play on wifi to save mobile data before I hit the slowdown limit.
Sooo.... yeah, ol’ Techie here isn’t much of a PVP master anymore, but hey, there’s around 30-40 TNT cannon designs that have been created now! (At the cost of many, many villagers that the aforementioned cannons were aimed at during testing...)
I always seem to find that my problems stem from the fact that I don’t have any source of income. Taking into account that I’m just a freshman, and how my parents tell me to focus on education rather than finding any job for now, yeah. Not that I’m complaining or anything. It’s just that it gets awkward when you ask your parents for $50 to buy scrap heaps from Ebay and thrift stores.
I recently noticed that I had a 5-port USB card lying around with the same chipset as the 2-port card that I currently have in my first PC. Assuming that since it was the same chipset that it’d work, I put it into the system, and lo and behold... blank screen. I’m pretty sure that the reason why the 5 port card doesn’t work while the 2 port one does may be due to the differing power draws, since there’s filtering capacitors that draw additional power per port from the 5-volt rail, which older systems such as mine use primarily for powering the system, as opposed to modern systems that utilize the 12-volt rail.
I tend to ramble a lot when I begin to talk about technology, which usually gets on people’s nerves. This is why I’m usually pretty quiet and shy in public. At least, until someone triggers the tsunami of tech talk by mentioning any sort of problem they have with their computer or whatever.
I find it frustrating as to why smaller computers need to be less upgradable. I mean, sure, planned obsolescence is definitely a driving factor, but seriously, is it really worth that much money to make it impossible to upgrade even the most basic of components?
Another thing I find annoying is when companies use proprietary standards that make incompatibility a major issue. Yes, I’m looking at you, Dell, with your finicky non-standard front panel ribbon cable thing. Also, I really don’t like how Socket 7/Super Socket 7 was never open-sourced for additional upgrade paths. I mean, literally everyone abandoned that socket, and AMD already proved that it would be near-impossible to reach even gigahertz speeds on the aged socket, so why not let the standard be used for embedded applications, or even better yet, hobbyist systems?
Technically though, Socket 7 was owned by Intel, and is its own IP that it licenses out to other companies. Meanwhile, Super Socket 7, on the other hand, is technically not owned by any company, as it was known more as an extension to the original Socket 7 than a major leap.
Also, why the heck does Intel hold on so tightly to its ancient technologies? This goes for several other tech giants. If its old and you know for a fact that hardly anybody ever uses it anymore, than why hold on to it? I mean, seriously, I remember a little while back when Microsoft released the source code for the earliest versions of Microsoft Word for the sake of posterity.
This blog has probably gotten far too long at this point, considering how it is kinda just a big techno-babble rant post created by late-night me. So, for the sake of your sanity, I’ll just end it here. At this point, this blog is most likely longer than about 50% of the chapters that I write.
Farts do smell 🤢
I like tnt. I think villagers are stupid, and would have killed themselves had you not ended their misery.
I like your rambling about technology. Even if I can't understand it it's nice to listen to.
