There were a few things I meant to mention in the previous blog post and in tonight's story chapters, so I'll put them up here.
First, Level Dasher commissioned an image of the CMC with their new Cutie Marks from Katakiuchi4U over on Deviantart.

Good sir, I OBJECT! That type of scenery is NOT specifically from Trek. While their titles elude me I recall that being a FANTASY trope, much older than Trek. That being said I've not read that specific work of yours as it doesn't personally interest me. So maybe there is something that would set it as more "Trek Style".

I was specifically referring to how it's called a 'boot scene' because it was made iconic through Star Trek, and specifically Captain Kirk.
...and it has nothing to do with 'scenery'.
Star Trek's a big thing. It's easy to miss references to it due to just how much stuff there is to reference.
I'm no hardcore trekkie, only watched a bunch of random TNG when they came on SyFy. Never heard of the name "boots scene" but I certainly recognized the situation. I was too busy being excited that there were actual sexytimes in Monster Musume to look for a particular trope.
