Friendship is Card Games: Epic (Noun) Time

Yeah, we’re dipping into the fandom archives for this one. Literally, given that the Alligator Tub Productions YouTube channel has renamed itself and wiped its content. But the Internet never forgets (except when it does) so let’s look at some classic fan animation and see how well it holds up.

Friendship is Card Games: Ponyville Mysteries: Schoolhouse of Secrets

This is an interesting situation. I begin my look at the Ponyville Mysteries novel series, which predates the Ponyville Mysteries comics I reviewed back in… 2019, my goodness.

Well, let’s get this started before my bones turn to dust.

    Egregious Automaton: Retract

Ahem. So. Upon further investigation, it is possible that the primary source for the "AI voices" brouhaha may, in fact, have been full of crap. Or at the very least, does not work at Hasbro.

    Egregious Automaton

You may have already heard about this from Equestria Daily or elsewhere in your personal bit of the Webbernets, but the reason behind the abrupt end of Make Your Mark has come to light.

Friendship is Card Games: Set Your Sail, #1 & #2

As “The Blockywockys” showed, seaponies never stopped being a thing. Whether they’re the same thing in this comic as Destiny the underwater friendship bracelet weaver remains to be seen. Let’s dive in and find out.

Two things to discuss here. Firstly, if you haven't heard, Oroboro's holding a Sunset shipping contest with the prompt "Changing Seasons." I already have an idea I'm working on. Working title is Automatic Transition.

Furthermore, since now seems to be the time to go into details, lets make this my official "going to Bronycon" planning blog. More below.

I'll be getting into Baltimore a bit before 11 9 on Friday, and that's if my train arrives on time. I'll miss a fair amount, but that's what I get for not coming in the day before. A bit late to fix that now. Ah well, a lesson for next time.
EDIT: Never mind; Amtrak makes it wonderfully easy to reschedule your tickets. Huzzah!

Still, once I get there, this is going to be... interesting. See, there are quite a few panels I'd like to check out, but I also really want to meet you guys face to face at Quills and Sofas. (And should you need some surprise guest appearance/emergency seat filler for your panel, drop me a line.) I'm sure we can work something out, but balancing Fimfic meetups, events, fueling the meatbody, and sleep is going to be an adventure in and of itself.

Also, there's one other consideration when we're talking about me: Magic cards. Yamgoth and I are already discussing the possibility of a draft or casual play, but gauging interest before I have to decide how many decks to pack would be very helpful. So, would anyone be interested in playing Magic with me (and, judging by how many MLP CCG events there are, hoping no one working for Enterplay notices?)

Whatever happens, I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing all of you! :pinkiehappy:

Woot! See you there.

This your first time at Bronycon?

Magic? Hmmm. Dunno, never played. I can give it a shot :)

That's a fairly inclusive statement when you're talking in front of people who definitely won't might not be there. :pinkiesad2:

Also you need to appear on Discord again so that I can yell at you about stuff.

Yay, I'll finally get to meet you! You've been one of the friendliest people around for a long time, and it'll be nice to meet in person.

Can't wait to see you :) and aw, you might miss my storytelling panel ;_;

No longer the case! Amtrak makes it very easy to reschedule tickets; I should be getting in around 8:45 now. I just hope my hotel will let me check in that early... :unsuresweetie:

See you there!
