Bronycon happenings 2017 · 11:37pm Aug 12th, 2017
Well, this was my fifth time going to Bronycon in Baltimore, MD and certainly an interesting one to say the least. This one was overseen by different management from the last four and for being their first time running such a large con, I say they did an alright job. I didn't particularly like how they had the mane events hall in the lower level as we have gotten accustomed to the upper level where honestly it's a lot brighter and the floor actually has carpet on it but I digress. Trivial differences, not much more so that wasn't too much of an issue for me. The vendor hall was packed both with booths selling great stuff and eager bronies ready to help boost the eCONomy...*badum tsssss!*...yeah, that was terrible, I know. Outside the con, as always, Baltimore has so much to see and quite the abundance of uber drivers nearby. The only hitch though was...well, remember my last blog? The one where I challenged you to spot my car? Someone sure spotted it with a rock through the window and made off with my camera that was outdated six years ago and wasn't working too well as it was. Not pleasant for certain but I refused to let that ruin my hard earned and well deserved vacation. Honestly, I'm flattered that someone thought that my fourteen year old Buick was worth messing with. I must have done a good job painting over those rust spots. Still, over all, Bronycon for me was much different from many of the others but still much of the same thing that I look forward to every year; tons of fun, friends new and old, amazing treasures that can't be found anywhere else and just the best darn way to lower my blood pressure. I'd like to express my thanks to little-tweenframes whom of which I had the pleasure of rooming with. Thank you, my dear and may we do this again sometime.
