Damn peer pressure

Almost all reviews/comments for my Mass Effect/40k story have one thing in common. They wanted the Inquisitor to live.
Now, that was the original plan, but as I plotted out the story, I came across two problems. One; too many characters, and two; Character redundancy. The first problem is easy enough to explain. Mass Effect already has a ton of characters, and I'm just adding more.

While I don't write off sequels of old games coming out of nowhere, despite the numerous disappointments, I do approach them with a healthy bit of skepticism. I'll hope for the best and reserve judgement for when it's released, but I refuse to get hyped for games like this. Still, I really, really hope they pull this off. I loved the AoE franchise, even 3.
