So, I just finished the next chapter of my Blueblood story. Again, sorry that took so long.
So, life details. First and most importantly, I have a job! Yes, I'm working as a librarian for a new company, one that is based out of another state. So, I've moved to Oklahoma. My first job is not quite what I've done before, but I think I'm adjusting rather well. Hopefully that turns out great.
That's prettymuch all I can think of at the moment. Right now, I have to plot out the Pinkie Pie chapter. I can tell you right now that it's going to be a low-key affair, focusing on the relationship between Pinkie and Blueblood. Oh, and I've got a cover picture coming up, so there's that (as well as a pair of nextgens commissioned from Yuyusunshine, which were fun to think up*). In addition, there are a few other Blueblood ships I came up with since this blog post that I wanted to write out, so before I turn in for the night, I'll write them out.
Mayor Mare and Blueblood Her Senior: It's generally accepted that it's hard for the young to be taken seriously in politics. Mayor Mare is well aware of this, being about thirty-six despite her attempts to make her mane and voice seem otherwise. However, the lone, once-again-unattached prince of Equestria is also familiar with what a pain in the rump this is, being fifty-six and resembling one of his children more than their father. Thus, between events at the Equestria Games, he and the Mayor of Ponyville find some common ground to discuss.
Moondancer and Blueblood the Bitter: Twilight left more than one person crushed in her absence. The first was an old friend, who'd yearned to come out more. The second was an awkward little stallion who'd just wanted to meet her. The 'happy accident' that saved the world did nothing to change her deliberate desertion, and the two spurned ponies soon became hard and sour. And then they met each other.
So, that's all I've got. And now I should be getting to bed. Nighty-night.
*For those of you wondering, they're the son of Zephyr Breeze and Rarity and the daughter of Quibble Pants and Rainbow Dash. This relates to an idea I mentioned earlier about showing Zephyr and Rainbow Dash becoming friends over a period of time, which includes the time they settle down and have kids. While Zephyr's given up on pursuing Rainbow Dash and both are happy with their spouses, the kids seem to be hitting things off nicely.
Working as a librarian? Twilight would approve!
