Random Fact: The reason why Apple's in-house SoCs that they use in their devices are so much faster than other chips is due to Apple developing them specifically for a single use, in a single brand of products- Apple products. Other chipmakers and designers such as Qualcomm and Mediatek have to design chips for a wide range of devices, and so they can't focus as much time on perfecting a single chip like Apple can.
Seems like I've been in the middle of a bit of a downvote storm. It's not that I've been seeing massive numbers dropping on my fics, but just a steady stream hitting some of my more recent stories as of late. I don't mind all that much though. I take joy in the experience of writing for everyone else.
I've discovered that neural network apps controlling "creatures" as they try to learn how to walk is highly entertaining. Especially when they at first freak out because the neural net is trying out every function that's presented to it.
My gym teacher mentioned earlier today that I'm probably one of the happiest kids in his class. My friend seems to agree, given that he described my room as a literal stereotypical bedroom for a nerd like me.
What was the description? Hidden away personal laboratory with stacks of computer components everywhere.
I've been a bit loaded up with homework recently, but as you can tell, today I was still able to get through it, and rattle out a decently long chapter update.
