Turns out that I overestimated what to expect when it came to the practice SAT. Also, for some reason, even though the universities in my area use the ACT test, the high schools give out practice SAT exams.
Random Fact:Neutrons are a combination of both a Proton and an Electron into a single particle. When a radioactive atom decays via Beta-Particle emission, this is actually a Neutron splitting into pieces, leaving a single Proton and a single Electron in its wake. The electron, being suddenly located in the Nucleus, is rapidly expelled as a Beta Particle.
I should probably stop my habit of crossing over my own fanfics, but this time, I know how I'm gonna do it, and it ain't gonna be cramming a crapton of unrelated stories into a multiversal pile-up resulting in a massive ball of what.
My big toe is slightly sore and has a bit of swelling. I told my mom, and she said that it's probably an ingrown toenail. Last time this happened was when I was around 10.
Ever try playing games for Android using a USB gamepad? And one with a non-standard layout, at that, too.
I've found that Angry Birds is actually much easier to play if you use a stylus. 'Cause then you can have a bit more accuracy in terms of where you're launching.
I still have the original Raspberry Pi 1 Model B. It's horridly underpowered compared to the newer models, especially when taking into consideration how the model I own is single-core, while all modern boards are quad-core.
Unless you have a massive SD card or internal storage, don't install any full-desktop variant of Linux on an Android phone. Most modern distros will happily devour any free space your phone has left.
I just realized that in terms of GPU performance, my old phone beats my new phone, but in terms of raw CPU performance, it's the other way around. No wonder why my new phone is perfectly fine at multitasking but laggy as crap in some fast-paced 3D games.
On top of that, the tablet I used to use that now has a dead touchscreen has a CPU that nearly matches my new phone, and a GPU that matches, if not passes, my old phone. If only the build quality didn't make the thing die from falling on CARPET FROM A FOOT HIGH.
Lesson to learn from having the tablet's touch screen die almost half a year ago? Don't buy tablets made by RCA, no matter how cheaply they're sold at Walmart. It's not worth the price when the thing will break after a little while, even if the internals of the thing are replaceable.
Ever tried to solder speaker wire back onto the PCB of a tablet? That's what I did back when the screen still worked, but now the speaker works and the screen's dead. It's kinda funny how that happened.
Apparently Android doesn't like el-cheapo Nvidia ION gpus. Learned that today after encountering MASSIVE graphical glitches upon launching a game on a nettop PC with a dual-core Atom chip.
