IN WHICH INSPIRATION HAPPENS
Maybe I should coffee more often, as caffeine seems to jump-start what amounts to my writing ability. But I'll talk about that below the jump. I left my home today to place an order at the grocery store for a fresh turkey for Thanksgiving (so much better than frozen). So I feel somewhat accomplished. Yay. Anyway...
I was having a conversation with a friend who shall, for the time being, remain nameless. The end result was my brain suddenly getting a spark of creativity to write a new story. Remember my mantra that I've said in other blogposts -- if an idea pops into your head, fully-formed, run with it (write down the framework ASAP), as it will almost certainly be satisfying to write. The subtleties of that might be noticed by your readers. So... here's the good news, at least I hope my readers see it that way:
It's a Sunset Shimmer story.
Here's the better news for everyone except possibly CoffeeMinion:
It will be the next published and chronological entry in the Recovery Arc.
Sorry, Coffee! My readers - you poor poor souls - should already know by now I'm notorious for writing this arc out of order. Sometimes ideas just happen, y'know? With the Recovery Arc, my favourite entries to create have often come from random thoughts or words from readers that spark something within me (Posh, you will always have my gratitude for Spider Queen, because that insane mess was a blast to write).
So, yeah. Expect an unexpected Sunset story from me in the hopefully near future. I already have it outlined, but I think I'll finish a capital offense first since it's almost complete. Gah! Multitasking.
Peace out!
The word "coffee" seems to change definitions in the midst of your blog.
More coffee over here, STAT. I went back this afternoon and read the entire arc yet again to get the feeling of the flow and can't wait to see where you are going to take us next.

You say that like it’s a bad thing.
