New MHE Chapter Soon, Side-Project Announcement, and Miniature State of the Bugsydor · 8:55am Nov 16th, 2017
To start, sorry for the long silence.
Had a burst of inspiration yesterday, and ended up completing a chapter of Monster Hunter: Equestria in the process. That is to say, it's feature-complete and now needs to be edited before I deem it ready for posting. I've given it my personal once-over to fix some glaring errors and absent accents, but I won't be convinced it's ready for public consumption until I get some more eyes on the thing. I hope to get it posted before (American) Thanksgiving, but my preferred prereader's schedule has been hectic of late, so we'll just have to see.
Side-Project! I'd been vaguely planning this sort of thing for a long time. How would you feel about a side-collection of short stories where the members of the HHH team (sans Derpy) talk about themselves and their pasts over drinks? It'd be worked-on whenever (well, more whenever-ish than my main projects), but it'd give me a place to show you things about these characters that I wouldn't have the opportunity to in the main fic.
As for my current state, I'm actually doing alright for once. School is tough, but possible and cool now that I'm not experiencing an interminable migraine. I've still had to deal with a couple, as well as an annoying episode of depression, but I've managed to survive so far. At any rate, I'm happy with my life right now, even if a lot of my life amounts to putting out figurative fires.
In the meantime, I am tired, and must crash out. Night!
