just saw the MLP movie bootlegged and I asked myself the question:

how did they manage to capture, control, and overall deal with the allying essentially god of chaos, Discord, the whole dragon army, and Starlight?

it's also speculated that the movie takes place in between the end of S7 and S8, meaning in total, the Storm King's army would've had to dealt with the following:

Discord, essentially a chaos god, the whole dragon army, Starlight Glimmer, who is almost as powerful as her teacher, the changeling army, which can shapeshift, and the old pillars of Equestria including Starswirl, who could essentially control physics and time.
