Another non-Sombra story in the works - inspired by a Thorax and Spike story · 6:39pm Dec 16th, 2017
-Having all the stars align to get my writing jump-started again is a blessing - but not necessarily to the backlog of all the King Sombra stories I want to write. While I am working more on those than I have in the last three months, there is another.
Besides having a taste for bad stallions, I like a good sad/tragic yarn. I have been following a particularly intriguing Thorax/Spike story this past year (Grief is the Price we Pay) which has been challenging my own limits as a writer and in how I perceive where I am and where I want to be (and grow) in writing and on this 'site in general.
It's time I stopped coasting - which had turned into backsliding. I cannot say much as to how it will get to the endpoint Tale Weaver and I envisioned for it, but "Eaten Alive" may just be the first non-Sombra story I write under this pen name. It picks up a year after the events of Chapters 89-90 (yes, 89-90! upon the death of Thorax - all because there are so many readers of that story that want and NEED Twilight Sparkle and Spike to never reconcile their friendship because that would be so much more REALISTIC than the alternative.
Will keep you posted on the progress and updates of Eaten Alive as they happen. Right now chapter one is written and I anticipate more will be coming soon.
Peace out and remember to always
Hail King Sombra!
