Merry Christmas/Enjoy your Monday to one and all! I got fun books, more stylish clothes than I'd consider for myself (and socks that derive the Einsteinian mass-energy equivalence,) and Explorers of Ixalan, but the real gift was seeing everyone else's reactions to what I got them. I only started giving gifts a few years ago, and there's a great deal of joy in seeing that you got something they were hoping for, or didn't even know they wanted. As I write this, my mother and sister are reading their gift while my sister-in-law is wearing hers. (My family borders on Sparkle levels of bibliophilia.)
Here's hoping everyone spends the day with those they love, or at least happy.
Giving gifts is what made Christmas meaningful for me again. The best part is making them as annoying as all get-out to unwrap. :D Merry Christmas!
Buks! Buks! Buks!
Books are always good!
Also, Merry Christmas to you and your folks!
Merry Christmas, FOME.
Merry Christmas to you, too!

Merry Christmas! Also, your family sounds adorable.
I, for one, am ridiculously happy that my older sister is loving the Hiveswap I sent her. It's wonderful when a calculated risk pays off.
Merry Christmas and Happy Hearth's Warming!
Merry Christmas!
Oh, absolutely! This was actually the very first time I got gifts for other people, and seeing my mom and sister's reactions when they unpacked their gifts was the best part of the whole event!
Fun Christmas story / bragging about having an awesome spouse: I had to explain to my parents why I was crying when I opened the booster box of Unstable my wife got for me. It's the first booster box either of us have bought since we became homeowners.
I'm glad you had a great Christmas! I was most proud of what I gave my brothers this year because they're always the hardest for me to buy for. I gave my youngest brother earbuds with a carrying case and my middle brother Unicorn darts (it makes sense to name darts after something that has a pointy end). They both really liked their gifts.
