Amoeboid Changeling

After closing last year on such a low note, let's begin this one with a happier one. A story full of innocent adventure, loving sisters, and a horrific abomination from beyond the sane reaches of reality.

I am, of course, referring to the woefully underwatched Orbiting Kettle's A Bug on a Stick, which tells the story of how the young, as-yet-unascended Celestia and Luna met one of their first lifelong friends. It also doubles as a wonderful, cosmic horror-flavored changeling origin story. I'm helping to edit it, as is Carabas of Moonlight Palaver fame, should that sway you in any way (and in his case, it should.) The prequel's a quick and equally entertaining read, though not at all necessary to understand the story.

I don't know about you, but I'd say filly Celestia and her pet shoggoth sounds like a good way start 2018 right.
