So, to start with, Happy New Years and all that.
Hope you all had a good Christmas and everything, I spent mine down in one of the capitol cities visiting friends. While there, I managed to get Lorenzo something hilarious...
The MLP tabletop roleplaying game. 
Special dice and story pack as well, to boot. Bet the little shit wasn't expecting that.
However, it seems that two can play that game, so now unfortunately I am forced to actually wear one of his presents.
Thankfully, it might actually be obscure enough that I will get away with it. If not... well, at least then I can identify those who possess superior taste in fictional equine species.
But onto the actual part people will be interested in.
1. Why the inactivity?
Huh, well, that's an interesting one. In a rather loose order:
1. Obtained girlfriend.
2. Switched jobs.
3. Dumped girlfriend.
4. Got bored.
5. Checked HIE group.
6. Found that HIE group was somehow more cancerous than before (seems to have settled down a bit for the holidays, admittedly)
7. Month long writer's block.
8. Found Aurora 4X
9. Played some Rising Storm 2, Vietnam ("I kill you GI, I kill you!"). Poo sticks and all.
So pretty much, a new job has been taking up a bit of my time. Plus I'm pretty much babysitting my two housemates. Still, I managed to get a chapter of Plan B out (actually happy with that one, managed to cram in some decent humour I feel), and am now working on a ICFALDU update. About 4000 or so works through, so hopefully I'll get it out in a week or so if I nuckle down.
Also, I've had a few people ask me for sequels for a few fics, but I want to finish my current ones first. I still need to update Divine Salvation, and will probably do that after ICFALDU as a writing 'palette cleanser' of sorts.
Oh, and please stop asking me to write stories for your furry OC's/Sonic characters going to Equestria. It's not my shtick, and honestly I despise those fics. Please find a better wish-fulfillment fantasy, thanks.

I'm just excited for the C# version, the UI improvements will be nice but I need the performance gains from multithreading, construction cycle times got ridiculous a couple hundred years in.

"One day there was a young gender-confused boy named Khaos. He very much liked sonic, and so decided to one day construct a fabulous fur-suit for the upcoming Yiff-con. After playing Sonic Adventures for forty-hours straight while high on dishwashing detergent and modelling glue, Khaos decided that his ultimate design would be based on his much-loved OC: 'Blast Mega Drive'.
Blast Mega Drive was pretty much the character Big the Cat, except that his fur was bright neon blue instead of purple, and he had a humongous horse cock colored like the rainbow.
With his design in mind, and with plenty of fabric stolen from his mum, Khaos got to work.
It took about six days for Khaos to finish (and on the seventh he rested), but when he did it was truly a sight to behold. Slipping into the suit like a pre-lubed salmon in a blender, Khaos shuddered with ecstatic pleasure upon becoming fully-engulfed by his genius creation.
Khaos was no more. He had become Blast Mega Drive.
He was finally ready.
Arriving at the convention, Blast Mega Drive was ready to yiff, but something caught his attention.
A fabulous, golden medallion held by a suspicious-looking old man. The old man opened his mouth to speak upon Blast Mega Drive's approach, but stopped, stunned, before the massive neon-cardboard horsecock clocked him in the temple due to Blast Mega Drive's swaggering gait. As the old man crumpled to the ground, Blast Mega Drive reached down and plucked the medallion from his cold dead hands.
'A gold coin!' Blast Mega Drive exclaimed greedily, before his entire body was engulfed with a magnificent bright light.
Loose Lips stumbled into the alley, cursing as she did so. A bright red feathered wing reached down to adjust her rear left high heel, her glitter-covered purple mane sparkling in the moonlight. Snapping the strap back to her leg properly, she sighed and began to turn back out onto the street to search for another client.
Only for a bright light to flash out from the alley behind her, causing her to stop and stare.
"Wha...?"
Her bloodshot cyan eyes struggled to comprehend the creature before, the furred abomination's bulk blocking all else from her limited attention. It coughed, before it noticed her.
"Oh, hello. You here for Yiff-con as well?"
Loose Lips shook her head, wondering if she was imagining things or whether it was just all of the pony-meth she had done an hour earlier.
"Yiff-what?"
"Yiff-con." The thing stared at her. "Wait... you're a pony?"
Loose Lips looked behind her, before tilting her head. "Yeah? I am?" Coughing up some flem and the parting memory of her last client, she examined the creature intensely. "You a John?"
"I'm Blast Mega Drive!"
"No hon," she shook her head. "What I mean is, you wan sum fuk?"
Blast Mega Drive paused, before his dead eyes seemed to light up. "Oh, yeah! I wanna sleep with all the ponies!"
Loose Lips rolled her eyes. Like she hadn't heard that pickup line before.
"Sweet. You got dosh?"
Blast Mega Drive held up something glittering in his paw. "I got a golden medallion I stole off some old dead dude."
With a shrug, Loose Lips snatched it out of his paw with a wing.
"It'll do. Let's go, handsome. I ain't got all night."
Two days later, Blast Mega Drive died in pony-hospital from class-five pony-aids. He was missed by no-one."

How is the Tabletop? I was interested in it but don't know if I should get it. Also take your time, as one of the quality HiE authors your chapters are usually worth the wait!

Don't know, I only really skimmed through it before packing it away to give to Lorenzo. Seems pretty expansive really, and overall wasn't that expensive compared to most of the more adult-orientated rpgs I've played. Has a separate bestiary book that lists pretty much every species in Equestria from what I could see, separate mission boxes, branded die packs, etc.
Oh, it also specifically forbids you from making alicorn OC's. I like how they had to foresight to preemptively shut that down.
You can't embarrass me in front of Mum and Dad when they already have literally zero respect for me.
