"What do you mean they're gone?" Celestia questioned her dear friend and fellow princess, Twilight Sparkle.
"I mean they are gone!" Twilight was in a very panicked state, but was trying her best to remain calm despite it all. "I looked everywhere, but I couldn't find them anywhere! Rainbow hasn't responded to any of my letters, Bon Bon hasn't seen Lyra since she left on her trip, DJ-PON3 has been missing as well since she left on a trip, Derpy and Dinky are gone, and even two of Pinkie's sisters are missing!"
Celestia leaned back in her throne, eyes narrowed in thought. That is strange... "Do you have any idea what might have happened?"
After calming down, Twilight pulled out a ledger of sorts, "I checked every airship port, and found some clues at the Manehattan Airport." She opened it up and flipped through it, "All seven of them booked a trip to Haywaii a week ago."
A relieved smile popped up onto her face. "Well, Twilight, perhaps they're enjoying some fun in the sun?" She teased. Was Twilight worried over nothing?
"The airship never came back," Celestia's smile dropped a little, "In fact, I checked with the Haywaiian Airship Port, and they haven't seen or heard any trace of the Celestial Decadence since it left Manehattan's port!"
Okay, now that was a bit worrying. Rainbow wasn't replying, several ponies Twilight was friends with were missing in action, and the airship was missing? "That is worrying..." She stood up and walked down the steps of her throne, making her way over to one of the stained glass windows. "How many were on board that ship?"
The younger mare swallowed hard, "Over a hundred, C-Celestia..."
"Do you suspect piracy?" Celestia asked after a moment of silence, turning back to look at Twilight out of the corner of her eye.
"I... I don't know, it's possible?" Twilight wasn't sure.
Before either of them could comment further, a sudden puff of smoke appeared through one of the openings in the castle, the wisp flew over to Twilight before poofing into a scroll! But...
It was bloodied.
Twilight immediately grabbed a hold of it, unfurling it and reading what was written on the paper.
Twilight, I need your help!
Was written on it, in ink on bloodstained parchment.
Twilight and Celestia's worry only grew from there...
This still coming Wednesday right?
The colored text gives me eye cancer.
Interesting idea, though the ending to your excerpt is a little underwhelming.
