Item #1: Hitting higgly-chan up with a weird anonymous request to do a princess bobsled team after that one random Luna drawing they did during the Olympics, and actually getting a response.
Item #2: Having Bobdude0 remember you from a convention one time, and having him accept your suggestion of making a Coco sticker.
Anyway, anonymous Tumblr requests aside (because I don't have an account), another thing that makes me really happy is anime. Which, unfortunately, I haven't been watching in a year or so for weird "why-are-you-not-doing-the-thing-that-makes-you-happy" reasons. Now, since an anime convention's coming to town, I'm feeling a bit more motivated to catch up. I know that I'm eventually going to get around to watching the new Precure season and finishing up Love Live Sunshine (because magical girls and idols are my anime go-tos), but I'm a bit stuck on what to watch from this season.
Right now, I'm between Pop Team Epic (because the clips look hilarious and I need some good random comedy in my life), Gakuen Babysitters (because I adore cute babies and feels), and the new Clear Card Cardcaptor Sakura (because I've been a fan of the original for years and I honestly don't know why I'm not watching it already). Anyway, if any of you have seen any of these, or feel like I'd like anything else, feel free to hit me up with recs!
Also, since I started library school, I haven't been updating as often, but the new Paging Doctor Sparkle will come out Friday, and the new Light Pollution just came out today. Spring break's coming up, so I think I'll try to blaze through Light Pollution updates (especially since that series is, you know, set during spring break) and maaaaybe get a good start on If You Have a Little Hope. (Maybe.) My next oneshot should be coming this month, but it's highly dependent on a character from the S8 premiere, so I'm holding out writing most of it until I get a good idea of her character.

P.S. I forgot to mention, there was an artist painting a commission the last time I went to this con, and it was seriously one of the most gorgeous Sunset Shimmer fanarts I've ever seen. I never did get this person's dA info or anything, so I hope I'll run into them again next con so I can compliment them on it. Kind of a platonic admiration Sunset Shimmer Cinderella deal.
