I love writing MLP fanfiction and when it comes down to it, I will admit that I prefer to write about ponies then I do humans, not that I hate my own species, I just find it more fun to write about ponies. So much so that it is such a shame I can't make money off of my work... or can I?
No, I'm not going to try to sell my stories or open up commissions to write stories for others. What I'm actually thinking of doing is writing an original story or creating my own RPG game, where the characters are colorful ponies. But that's it.
The story takes place in an alternate world (not Equestria), with its own take on ponies (Earth ponies have a different name and Cutie Marks don't exist or at least not like they do in the show) while living in a post-post-apocalptic universe. There will be a few eldritch concepts as well but I want to keep quiet about it for now (I might share some more later in the future).
Before any of you worry this shouldn't have any affect on my current projects (as I am waiting to hear from my pre-reader with at least one of them), although I may borrow some elements from the story I am working on for October (31 Nights of Nightmares) for the game.

Basically the survivors rebuilt their world from the ashes and society is almost back to the way it used to be before the apocalypse scenario.
