So! Back. Not dead. Big surprise. Life's been kinda hectic for awhile now for a variety of reasons I won't go too much into, but I've had a nice long break and am feeling ready to get back to a semi-regular writing schedule! However, I have still been doing art for the past,,, six months, has it really been that long? Jeez. So, here's a big ol' pile of stuff that I haven't shared here, by month.

    Hues of June 18a - Flesh!Big Macintosh
    (Spoilered for body horror)
Nothing like a hard day’s work to get up an appetite.
tbh, this might be one of the best things I’ve ever drawn in terms of anatomy and shading.

Dr. Who & the Ponies · 4:32am Apr 9th, 2018

So here is a thing; I am working on a longer story arc. A much, much longer story arc. If you've read my previous posts, you already knew that. However, I think I've finally gotten the first series fleshed out. There will be twelve stories in the present storyline, with a trio of sort-of bonus storylines, one detailing the adventures of a past Doctor in Equestria, one as a side plot that didn't fit in neatly anywhere else, and one as a nice, light slice-of-life break from the adventure and drama that will define the main story arc. I don't want to give too much away, but here's a list of what's to come:

S1E1: Allons-y-- The Doctor arrives in Equestria and finds himself ensnared in a matter he left unresolved the last time he was there.

S1E2: Closer to the Void-- The Doctor and companions find themselves trapped in a malfunctioning TARDIS, stalked by enemies the Doctor thought were long-defunct.

S1E3: The Rising Night-- When Celestia and Luna learn that the Doctor has returned, they pay a call on him in his new home. The Doctor regales his companions with the tale of how their seventh regeneration met and travelled with the Royal Sisters.

S1E4: Fall of the Doctor-- Taking the CMC on a day-trip in the TARDIS to the trade city of Timbucktoo seems an ideal notion. Unfortunately, unseasonable storms and an army of zombies may spell disaster for the city and death for the travelers.

S1E5: The Prodigal Daughter-- Sunset Shimmer has returned to Equestria, but not by choice. While she deals with homesickness and the Uncanny Valley, the rest of Ponyville contends with chaos being unleashed in the streets. Back at Canterlot High, the Rainbooms and Flash Sentry struggle to understand why Sunset left. Perhaps her recently-arrived double can shed some light on the matter...

S1E6: The Clock with Three Faces-- The Doctor has detected Time Lord technology being used in Ponyville. Applejack and Caramel encounter the town dentist having a meltdown. The TARDIS is missing. The Doctor and companions find themselves on a quest through the Time Lord's own past to discover the true identity of Colgate.

S1E7: Silent Night-- The Doctor takes a down-in-the-dumps Rumble on a trip to the Lawndon Frost Faire to cheer him up. It fails utterly, and they are unceremoniously dumped into a search for a missing unicorn, one which leads to a plot to destroy the world as they know it.

S1E8: For Want of a Horseshoe Nail-- Apple Bloom has found herself in a strange, alternate Ponyville. There are plenty of differences; Discord never reformed, the Elements belong to different ponies, Diamond Tiara is her best friend. The biggest difference, though, is that her parents are still alive. That gift comes with a terrible price, though, and Bloom must turn to the alternate Elements to return home. Featuring the First Doctor villain, the Meddling Monk.

S1E9: Vacation to a Pleasant Country Retreat-- Scream, horror, panic! The Flower Trio's eldest sister, Hyacinth, is coming to stay! We're doomed! Meanwhile, Ditzy, Rarity, and Macintosh are kidnapped by an invasion of robot crabs plotting to take over the world. Who can say which is the greater threat? Crossover with Keeping Up Appearances

S1E10: The Legion of Bronze-- Scootaloo has learned the truth about her father. Now, she's trying to confront the stallion. Unfortunately, an error in the TARDIS psychic circuits results in her arrival in Pre-Unification Skyzantium, where a mysterious science officer conducts tests on dead bodies. In the present, meanwhile, Ponyville falls under attack from nigh-indestructible pegasus robots. Faced with a terrible choice between her town and her dreams, will Scootaloo save the day? Featuring the Sixth Doctor villain, the Rani.

S1E11: Fall of Empire-- A trip to the Crystal Empire goes sour for Sweetie Belle and the Doctor when they arrive in the close of Sombra's reign. However, not all is as it seems in the grim city under siege-- Sombra may not even be in control of his own body, let alone the Empire, and the true ruler has the Equestrian army exactly where it wants them.

S1E12: Vengeance of the Valeyard-- The season finale. The CMC reunite for the first time in three years. Dinky expects it to be like old times once more, but things may have changed too much to pick up where they left off. When an old enemy from the Doctor's past- or future, depending- lays low the greatest heroes alive, the six friends must work together once more in order to survive the Death Zone and save the world from being rewritten by a newborn alicorn. Featuring the Sixth Doctor villain, the Valeyard.

And that's it for spoilers-- for now, anyway. I'm not much for keeping secrets, I fear. Expect the first story to arrive sometime in late August or September, around the same time as Jodie Whittaker's debut as the Thirteenth Dr. Who. I can hardly wait!

P.S.
For all my efforts in coming up with stories, I can't for the life of me think of a good name for this alternate universe. The Wibbly-Wobblyverse? If you've got suggestions, I welcome them.
