Nightmare Night paused, Into the Storm up next · 6:47pm Apr 9th, 2018
Up until now, I'd been thinking I'd continue working on Unleash the Magic - Nightmare Night following this weekend's release, but unfortunately, I find I need a break from writing M-rated stories for a bit.
The reason is that after writing two long and VERY wild ending chapters to The Lawyer and The Unicorn (which those of you who enjoy Unleash the Magic-type action should definitely love!) plus the latest Nightmare Night chapter, my erotic batteries are running low and need a chance to recharge. I need a change of pace, so I'm going to shift gears to writing my favorite military epic Into the Storm - the Flight of Firefly for now. I know I've left no less than three major scenes hanging at this point, teasing them all heavily, and I apologize for it. But I don't want to write them until I feel able to do them justice and enjoy the process. I'm afraid if I tried now, neither will be true.
When I return to it, I'm going to write all three scenes in their own shorter chapters with minimal asides and overhead, each chapter distilled as much as possible to the scene itself. That way, I don't have to worry about pacing and can go full throttle on each; that way you can pick and choose the scenes you want and avoid the topics or characters you don't, as I know certain things won't appeal to everyone.
When the time comes, I will wait until all three chapters are ready and then release them one after another a day or two apart. The order of the chapters will be the order the scenes were teased; so first Spike back at Sugar Cube Corner, then Rainbow with Blossomforth and the rest of the weather team, and then finally Rarity with Timberjack, Timbermac, and Flutterbat. This will complete the corruption of the Mane 6, and then focus can shift back to Starlight vs Eclipse. If you're not afraid, you really should be, Starlight...

Better to take a break from writing than to write something bad. Do whatever you need to do, now to go read all of your stories while I wait!
