Soo, when does Colony hit the box office? I’d trade that anytime for most movies these days and honestly even for Das Boot!

Yeah, you’re pretty hosed if you see it. I haven’t seen Black Panther yet, so not sure there, but you will want to watch Civil War and Thor: Ragnarok before IW. Especially Civil War.

Hmm... That is an excellent question. Not EA or Actiblizzard, definitely, but I'm having trouble thinking of any game publishers with good press right now. And I don't know much at all about movie studios/publishers. Maybe Miramax or Universal?

Hmmm ... Totally gonna make a thread for this one tomorrow, now. Just to see what people think. My personal stance? I'd love to see Colony made into a film, though you'd have to make it a long one. Might be worth splitting into two (and I think a film could do that better than the book could, because you'd already be making changes for the visual medium).
As far as who could do it and probably do a good job ... I really have enjoyed the stuff that Bad Robot (JJ Abrams' studio) and Skydance have made. Maybe give them a crack at it? I mean, if someone wants to option the rights, I'm available immediately, lol, but off the top of my head Skydance and Bad Robot have made some dang good movies (plus, it'd give me a shot at having Micheal Giacchino do the soundtrack. That would be amazing.
As far as a game? Hmm ... there are a lot of directions a Colony game could be taken. You could do a tactical fleet-battle RTS with the subs (and I know exactly who I'd trust with that: Blackbird Interactive, the makers of Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak), but you could do a tactical shooter or something else with it too. Crud, you could even do an adventure game like Tales from the Borderlands and make it work!
Yeah, I may make a thread for this. I like the speculation!
