Plans for the next few chapters · 7:38am May 26th, 2018
Next few chapters are what I've been building toward and setting up with Starlight.
I have been wanting to do the season five opening episodes for months and when I introduced Starlight into the story it's almost like she came prepackaged with everything she's done. And everytime I have Irondeer in my mind, it's like a horror movie. Probably won't be full horror, but sometimes I surprise myself when I do some stuff. At least it won't be outright the season 5 opener due to me disliking a rehash of episodes. And with how the Canterlot section ended there's at least one character that will definitely let it not go down the exact path the show took.
Also there is one section in the newest chapter that hints at what at least a major part of one of the upcoming chapters will be.
Weirdly Starlight's one of the easiest characters to write right now. Also one of the more fun one's to write.
I'll write immediately after the weekend's over and done with family stuff.

well, I can sadly only upvote your story once, because chapters like the current one deserve one especially for themselves...
I must have missed what the hint was, too busy laughing at Pinkie and enjoying what was unfolding. But I'm sure I'll realise when we get there

Well I do tend to write hints for me. It's not even like a really big thing since it's not like I write a scene going "This is the really important thing that people need to pick up on." I just write something and five bareboned ideas come for a future chapter. I usually try to make the hint work in dialogue first and see where that takes me.
